 
The hardest part about growing up is
letting go of what you were used to, &
moving on with something you're not.   
& if I make it through today,
Will tomorrow be the same,
Am I just running in place..
& if I stumble & I fall,
Should I get up & carry on..
Will it all just be the same?   
While other girls doodle hearts and flowers,
I scribble stars. Little wishes for everything to be okay.   
I’ve heard that it’s possible to grow up - I’ve just never met anyone who’s actually done it . Without parents to defy , we break the rules we make for ourselves . We throw tantrums when things don’t go our way , we whisper secrets with our best friends in the dark , we look for comfort where we can find it , and we hope - against all logic , against all experience . Like children , we never give up hope …   
And some days make me feel weak and shaky. Some fly right by me like a paper airplane, and I hardly notice that the world's gone crazy.   
Jack: But why is the rum gone??? Elizabeth: 1, because it is a vile drink that turns even the most respectable man into complete scoundrels.   
Jack Sparrow: Nobody move! I've dropped me brain...

Elizabeth Swann: [of the Pirate Lords and their crews fighting each other] This is madness.
Jack Sparrow: This is politics.   
Jack Sparrow: Mr Gibbs, you may throw my hat.
[Mr Gibbs takes Jack's hat and throws it into the air with the other hats everyone threw after winning the battle with Lord Beckett]
Jack Sparrow: Now go get it.   
Will Turner: No course is lost if but one fool is left to fight.   
Barbossa: There's not been a gatherin' like this in our lifetime.
Jack Sparrow: And I owe them all money.

[hands Jack a jar of dirt]
Jack Sparrow: Dirt. This is a jar of dirt.
Tia Dalma: Yes.
Jack Sparrow: Is the jar of dirt going to help?
Tia Dalma: If ya don't want it. Give it back.
Jack Sparrow: [turns away, hugging jar to his chest] No.
Tia Dalma: Then it helps.   
Jack Sparrow: [With his back to Elizabeth, thinking that she is a man] Come to join my crew, lad? Welcome aboard!
Elizabeth Swann: I'm here to find the man I love.
Jack Sparrow: [Startled] Deeply flattered, boy, but my first and only love is the sea.
Elizabeth Swann: Meaning William Turner, Captain Sparrow.
Jack Sparrow: [Turning around] Elizabeth!
Jack Sparrow: [to Gibbs] Hide the rum.   
Elizabeth Swann: There will come a moment when you will have a chance to show it. To do the right thing.
Jack Sparrow: I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.
